I'm getn' married in 49 days and need to lose about 25 pounds. Any1 got any speedy weight loss tips? You know what they say..."you get happy, you get fat"! I didn't get huge or anything, but I want to get back to the size i was, when we met. Which means I need to lose about 25 pounds, and I'd like to lose all or most of that 25 pounds, by May 26th. Does anyone know of any diet/exercize stuff, that will drop that kind of weight in approx 7 weeks? Please help!!!!!!

Go to the gym and do 1/2 to an hour of cardio a day. Do crunches, take a kickboxing class. Drink a ton of water. Stop drinking soda and eating sweets. don't eat at fast food. eat less than 2,000 calories a day. Losing weight means making a lifestyle change. Any quick fix will just make you balloon up again. You need to change the way you eat and exercise in order to lose weight healthy and permanently"

Eat ONLY when your phisically hungry (not your mind telling u ur hungry), and when you eat. eat ONLY 1/3 of what your stomach can hold. remember your stomach is not your belly. your stomach is actually almost the size of your palms put together. just eat one third the amount. NEVER stuff your self. good luck"

Have a shake for lunch with a salad or vegetables or something. Have a snack two hours later. Eat salad or vegetables for dinner. I lost 15 lbs in 10 days. You will put the weight back on but atleast you will lose it for the weddings. Remember to drink lots of water and excercise!!!!!"

SweetPea replied: "That's tough and not to be mean, but you should have started sooner. I started in October and my wedding is in June. I've lost 27 pounds and have only 16 left to go. Start eating between 1200-1500 calories a day, never go below 1200, that would be very unhealthy. The only way to do this right is to measure your portions and keep track of what you eat. Remember, liquid calories count, too! And you have to exercise. I do 60 min of cardio 6 days a week and weights 4 days a week. If you don't belong to a gym, go for walks, bike rides, do exercise videos, swim, roller blade, etc. My weight loss was a little slow because I have a very hard time with the food part. If you really stick to it, you could lose most of your 25 pounds by then. If you like to drink alcohol, cut it out completely, that will help a lot. Alcohol is one of my downfalls."

how to loose weight!!! help!! using a cross trainer? i am 31 years old and weigh 19 stone, i should be about 9 or 10 stone, due to health problems and depression i gained lots of weight, i am going to spain for a holiday next may and would love to wear a swimsuit on the beach, my hubby has just brought me a cross trainer, i have tried every diet going and stop loosing weight after a few weeks, if i was to go on my cross trainer would i loose weight? how long should i go on it every day to loose about 5 stone or more in 10 months, any other tips for speedy weight loss

Flex replied: "keep exercising!! drink lots of water, don't eat any carbs (and if u wants carbs, stick with whole grains) or sugar, eat lots of lean meats (turkey, fish, chicken), and fruits/veggies...also, it is normal for weight loss to slow down after a few weeks...it's called a plataeu...the only way to break through it is to continue your plan...i worked at weight loss center and people always hit plateau's...as long as they didn't give up, they would start losing weight again, usually within about 2 weeks...good luck! :)"

From here you can either exercise a lot more, or eat less than you usually do to. You could also combine the two. Then, stay under your newly set calorie limit and your body will start consuming calories from body fat than calories from consumed food. Its important that you eat enough to stay healthy. If you have problems with hunger, fill yourself up with vegetables."

Change your eating habits, you know whats bad for you. Ride a bike to work if its safe and not too far. I used to weigh 300 pounds, well, most likely I weighed more, because my scale only went up to 300 lbs, but that's not important right now. Right now I weigh 130. It took me a year and a half. I ride 6 miles to work everyday (takes 40 minutes) and I ride back home after work. Therefore I ride 12 miles per day. Now, three to four times a week after dinner, my husband and I walk for 1 hour. Trust me, I am almost 40 years old, if I could do it anybody can. If you do the cross trainer STICK TO IT. I hate equipement that doesn't go anywhere. I've owned three treadmils, stationary bikes and steppers and swingers. And I got off of them as fast as I got on them. Your still young, bike, walk, roller-blade and go somewhere, to work, store, a friends house. That way you just can't get off. You have to get to your designation. This helped me big time. Oh, a bonus, I saved up enough money because I had to get a tummy tuck because my stomach was so huge I had to remove the excess skin. Your way better off them I was. Plus you have a lot of time. Start today!! When my first husband left me I was so depressed I ate myself out of house and home. Then when I over came the pain, I put that last cheeseburger down and said "I'm ready to get off my huge behind and do something about this." That was when I was ready to lose my weight. P.S. I started walking 10 minutes a day to begin with. I thought I was about to die. I couldn't brief!! But give it time and you increase your exercise time. 1 pound equals 3,500 calories. So if you weigh 266 times that by 15 and that is the calories you are eating per day. 3,990 (266X15=3990). You don't gain a pound per day, because we all lose calories everyday. So watch your calories. Eat 1000 to 1500 per day and exercise. If you walk 30 minutes per day thats like 300 to 400 calories lost that day which means you will lose weight faster. I was eating OVER 4,500 calories per day. I then started eating 1,000 calories per day and in the beginning I was losing 1 pound a day. Do the math, I was exercising and went from eating 4500 to 1000. So this minused about 3000 to 3500 calories per day."

How can I lose weight as quickly as possible? Hi! I am trying to lose weight, and would like to do it as quickly as possible. I currently weigh about 130 at 5'6'', and would like to weigh about 115. I would like to do this in about two weeks, is it possible? I know that speedy weight loss isn't the healthiest, but I'm okay with that. I am planning on going to the gym for about 2 hours of cardio per day, about 30 mins of weight training/ core strengthening, eating roughly 1200 calories, in 6 small low carb meals, and drinking 10 glasses of ice water/ green tea. Do you think I could lose the weight if I adhere to this plan? Are there any other tips you can give me? Thanks for your help! ;)

Anna. replied: "Eat salad, drink water, keep excersing. run for an hour or two, ride your bike for an hour also, just keep excersinig. but personally, i dont see why you want to weigh less. im no expert on weight myself, but you seem to be at pretty healthy weight."
