for Skies Above e-mag!

As you could see, the site had not been
updated since April, but over the past
few days it has undergone a major update
and today is the day it has been
uploaded.
Also, the logo went in to the paint shop
for a little update...I hope you like
it!
As for the pages that aren't currently
online e.g. the timetables and
destinations, I am working hard to get
these completed so that the website can
be fully finished and this is where i
ask you to bear with me during this
time! There also maybe one or two new
features to the site soon, so stay
tuned!
The Skies Above e-magazine is the next
project I will be focussing on, the
front page has been done and I should
have more news for you soon so keep
checking back... |

flyglobespan start to release Summer
2008 programme...!
flyglobespan have started to release
their Summer 2008 programme for
DurhamTeesValley.
So far, we know that they will be flying
to
Alicante (2x weekly), Faro (2x weekly),
Jersey
(2x weekly), Malaga (3x weekly), Palma
(3x weekly) and Tenerife once a week.
Hopefully a few more routes may be
added...so keep checking back for more

Security meeting between spotters and the Police
proves a success!

Well Done to the Police and the DTVA
Yahoo Group for getting this meeting
organized and distributed.
It proved a success as the spotters will
provide the Police with an extra pair of
eyes around the airport. Lots of ideas
have been discussed and an idea made
about having I.D. badges etc so that
people who are their to watch aircraft
don't get thought of as suspicious and
get taken by MI5 to the Airport Security
to receive a grilling.
I would like to fully wish my thanks to
Dave Anderson for the organization of
all this, it was severely needed!

July 2007...Wizz Air commence three times weekly
service to Warsaw!

Congratulations to Wizz Air as they
commence their thrice weekly service
direct from the heart of Poland to the
Tees Valley. The first flight touched
down this morning at 0755am and they
welcomed their first passenger onboard just a short time later.
Wizz are flying to Warsaw on Tuesday's,
Thursday's and Saturday's using 180-seat
Airbus A320 aircraft...if you wish

Second batch of flights commence as the second
flyGlobespan aircraft arrives...!

flyglobespan have now commenced the
second
half of their summer programme from
DurhamTeesValley!
The second aircraft will also be a
Boeing 737-600 (pictured left) and the
new destinations being served are Ibiza,
Jersey, Menorca, Nice & Pula!
