The Counter-mate

Here's a very interesting position: both the oponents need one move to achieve the match with a victory, I have found it in "Chess School", Aleksandr Koblentz
Moresi - Ferarini
Italy, 1972

Black are threatening 1...Qg2 ; however, it's to whites to play. If they choose to defend the g2 case by 1.Rg1 black will use a demolition sacrifice: 1...Qxh2+! 2.Kxh2 Rh8

Now, they have too attack and win, we can be inspired by the "étouffé" mate whose the schema looks like this:

Interesting, isn't? but how can we create a such artistic mate in a such lost position?
Only a hint: don't panic and smile .
1. Bd5+ Nb7 2. Rxa7+! Bxa7 3. Qb8+! Rxb8 4. Nc7#
Wonderful isn't?
The next game has a particularity: to face the mate in one move, Topalov only threats and lets Kramnik attack, ... and lose!
Kramnik - Topalov
Monaco, 2000 (Rapid)

1... Bh6 2. Re8+ Kg7 3. Rxg8+ Bxg8 4. Nf5+ Kg6 5. Nxh6 Nb3 6. Bxc4 Bxc4 7. Rxa1 Nxa1+ 8. Kb1 Nb3 9. Ng4 Kh5 10. Nf6+ Kxh4 11. Nxh7 Bd3+ 12. Ka2 Nc1+ 13. Ka3 Bxh7 0-1
Madic - Klubis
Novi Sad, 1988
All the children must know the method

1.Qxh7+! Kxh7 2.Rh3+
Black seems ready to abandon, since there's no way to prevent the little pawn f6 to advance, and if 1...Qf7 2.Bxh7! Qd5+ 3.Be4+, well, there's one little chance left:
Ligterink - De Boer
Volmac, 1987

1...Bd4!, 2. Bxd4 c5+ 3.Kg1 cd
without an entire Rook, White can't hope too much
