Mining and smithing are probably the most profitable skills in runescape, making bars out of ores, smithing them or selling
them, its fast, usually cheap because you only need a pickaxe and hammer, so its a great choice for the money-making citizen
of runescape. |

Be very careful in the mining and smithing buisness, its often a place to try out a simple trick on you. For example, the
picture above. The same 2 bars? why has he taken a picture of the same bars? They arent the same bars! It's actually 1 steel
bar and 1 iron bar. Hard to tell huh? Which ones which? Try and figure it out. Anyway, always put your mouse over the bar
you are trading to check its the right one you are buying. :-) |

Some rocks, like the one above, are for quests. The one i am 'commenting' on is the blurite rock, which is needed for the
Knights Sword quest. Its in a a dangerous place though, you will need to take your armour and food, and maybe a friend for
backup. Its very unwise to go here when you are lvl 40 and under if you arent pure. |

This is a rune bar, the hardest yet most rewarding thing to mine and smith. You have to be lvl 85 mining and lvl 85 smithing. So its a hard target, but a gift if you can get that far. (A huge thank you to Somerville who provided myself with the picture) |
