Goin' back to Chicago…

… with Jim and the boys to cut a few more blues standards. Both these albums are a fine example of how the blues can sound, there's a couple of alternate takes on this album like 'Diddly Daddy' and 'Spoonful' both of which appear on it's predecessor, but what the hell! (Maybe I should put together a compilation of all the different takes of 'Midnight to Six Man' Now that would be something!).

If you have never heard these two albums think 'Fabulous Thunderbirds' and you've got the sort of feel of things. Okay, so they ain't Texans, but you know what I mean!

Line up; Phil May, Dick Taylor, Studebaker John, Richard Hite and Jim McCarty.

With assistance from; The El Dorados, Ron De War, Dave 'Thick Soul' Trumfio, The Red Light Stompers, Erwin Helfer and Abdul Hakeem.

Things took a slightly different direction next!
