Disc 2- DVD: Dion remembers his heroes

1. Time Life DVD title The Wanderer track from the Heroes CD with photos of Dion and album covers of Ruby Baby, Wonder Where I’m Bound and Yo Frankie.
2. Dion talks about the concept for the Heroes album and sings and plays acoustic guitar on a blues song with the lyric “everybody rock & roll”.
3. Gene Vincent-Dion sings and plays some of Be-bop-a-lula Dion & Bob “Crow” Richardson talk about guitarist Cliff Gallup. Crow demonstrates on a Gretsch guitar Cliff’s style Dion & Crow perform some of Be-bop-a-lula.
4. Eddie Cochran- Dion & Crow perform part of Summertime Blues and tell stories about Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent.
5. Elvis Presley- Dion & Crow play a portion of Jailhouse Rock
6. Carl Perkins- Dion tells very short story.
7. Johnny Cash Dion tells stories. Dion mentions that Johnny Cash liked Dion’s song Born to Cry.

9. Roy Orbison. Dion tells stories about Roy.He talks about going to Australia w/ Roy in 1960. They discuss songwriting techniques. Dion quotes the lyrics to Dion’s “Gotta Get to You” as an example of Dion’s songwriting style. Dion talks about his father who played opera records for Jackie Wilson & Roy. Dion heard Roy backstage in 1987 add a bridge to Dream Baby which Dion tried to replicate on this project.

16. Buddy Holly- Winter Dance Party story. Dion says he put Oh Boy on the album. Obviously that changed after the DVD taping and he did Rave On for the Heroes album and “Oh Boy” became a bonus track. Dion sings a bit of Oh Boy. Dion and Crow perform a portion of The Wanderer.
