Smyk - Home Page

This site deals with the Polish designed and built PW-5 Smyk, single seat glider. Built as the wining design in an FAI "World Class" competition this small glider has sold well in the past few years, with examples being exported all over the World. You'll also find here details on the new two seat PW-6 "Twin Smyk".

I've split the World Smyk fleet by geographical region. Each table contains known civil registration, construction number, owner details and tail codes if known. Photos links are built in too.

Of the approx 270 Smyks built to date you'll find photo links to over 110 different Smyks at the moment. I am always looking to obtain further Smyk photos, so if you or your glider club own a Smyk, and would like to see it included here, then PLEASE post me some photos. If you can add any "data" or "NEWS" then please drop me an email, I'd love to hear from you.

For inclusion on this site I require good old fashioned, paper based photographic prints please, if not jpegs will be fine. Please click on the "Thanks" page for details of those who have kindly helped me so far.
