	Today was spent finishing the correction of aesthetic errors in the pages. Also today, I obtained a new domain for this site, so you can now find us by pointing your browser at: [http://www.stargatedirectory.tk]. Although this simply forwards you to the old adress (http://members.tripod.co.uk/stargatedirectory/), so that one will continue to work too, I would appriciate it if you would in future use the new adress as I require 30 hits per month at that adress to keep it. 	25 July 2002

	Today I focused upon expanding the [wallpaper section], which now contains 9 original desktop wallpapers, including one each for the four members of SG-1. Also today, I added the downloads section to offer that little bit more here. The search box on the home page has changed to allow the user to limit a search to specific areas of the site. Total page hits reached 65 at about 10pm GMT, but the next few hours are usually the peak time; as the American audience starts to come in. Hopefully we could be in for a record day.


	24 July 2002

	Today I added the [wallpaper section] in order to offer a little more here at the database. I also added several more links (most notably links to Kurt Russell sites in the [Cast & Crew] section), bringing the total number of unique sites listed to 84. Monday and Tuesday saw hits sagging dramatically which was disheartening. I suppose it was to be expected that the promotion would take a few days to kick in. Indeed; figures for this evening were more promising; it seems that the links that people have kindly provided are starting to generate traffic.


	21 July 2002

	The site went live this evening, after a couple of days of construction. I have been frantically adding links, bringing the total number of unique entries into the 70s. Now comes the hard part od promoting this site. Search engine submission is easy, but I have had to appeal to the generosit of the wider Stargate web comunity to solicit the links needed to bring traffic into the site Early signs are promising, with 17 hits in the first couple of hours. Tomorrow I go away for a few days which should give the site some time to establish. The work continues when I return.

	Im going away today until tomorrow afternoon, so the next substantial update will not be until sometime tomorrow (Saturday). I added a Gen. Hammond wallpaper, bringing the total number up to 10. Yesterday was a record, with 25 hits which was pleasing, lets just hope that it keeps up.
