In the beginning the world was perfect and God and man lived together in harmony. But then man turned away from God, who created the Heavens and the Earth, and has fallen into sin – that is rebellion against God. Every one of us is guilty of this sin and the ultimate penalty of this is death.

However, the God of this universe is a loving God and because of this He sent His one and only Son to die on a cross. He did this so that Jesus might take the punishment that we deserve for our sin. Because God loved us this much, for all those who accept and believe in Jesus He grants forgiveness for our sins so that we may once more enter into a relationship with Him and have eternal life in Heaven with him. Jesus however didn’t merely die but three days later rose from the day and ascended back to Heaven to be with His Father. He said he would do this, showing that he is indeed the Son of God and demonstrates His power, even over death.

One day we will all die and will have to stand before God and be judged. We can either say that we accepted the gift that He has given us or we have continued to rebel against Him through sin.

Now you may not believe this, but for one minute assume that Christians are right. If you died tomorrow and found yourself standing before God, what would you say to Him? Would He let you into Heaven?
