Names on the parents' line represents the most consistent spelling as found in several children's individual baptism entries
Dates for each record are beleived to be birth dates. Notes below the data for each child usually reflect deviations in
spellings of one or both of the parent's names on that entry, but in these cases I was still convinced that I was looking at
records regarding the same family.
As I had to pay per name, I only requested certain records. Specifically,
I was looking for a marriage record of Michael O'Toole & Winnifred Byrne
(unfortunately pre-dating the records at St.Pat's), Edward O'Toole & Mae
Cochrane (not found), and Anne O'Toole & William Cousens (found). I was
also looking for birth records for Bride or Bridget O'Toole (not found),
the names of the children of Anne & William Cousens (some found), and any
record of William Murphy and Elizabeth Roberts (some found).

Provincial Archives Holdings: Births, pre-1891
Copies of the records in the 1872-1891 baptism
registers from St. Pat's were found at the Provincial Archives, in the
Colonial Building in St.John's. The records are in two forms: copies of
the original baptism register (1872-1884), and a vital statistics
transcription made in the late 1800's (1880-1891). All these records were
transcribed by me personally, from the baptism register copy where
possible, and are organized by parentage, rather than by the order of
entry in the original registry.

St. Patrick's Holdings: Births & Marriages, post-1891
Many Catholic churches closely guard their parish records. No Marriage
records were ever given to the Provincial Archives by St.Pat's, and I
could not view the St.Pat's records myself. I was told that there were no
pre-1894 marriage records from the parish. As a result, the following
records are presented as they were trancribed for me by the records
officer at St. Pat's. The transcription work was notably shoddy, and I'm not
100% convinced that the search conducted was thorough
