Married: May 14, 1896 (age 23) (St. Mary the Virgin marriage register)

Georgina's father was listed as Joseph, a fisherman, in the marriage register. Georgina was listed as a native of Broadcove (now St.Phillips). There is some confusion over the name Georgina commonly went by, as at least two correspondents researching the Squires family have said that it was a Jane Squires who married John Harvey of Southside. It may be that Georgina went by the name Jane, or was called that by immediate friends & family. Until I see her baptism record, the point is moot!
