Born: May, 1869.(Month from 1921 census, year from the St. Mary the
Virgin church baptism register). Francis Harvey went by the name John. He married the sister of his
brother's (Richard) wife. Francis is listed as a fisherman on some of his
children's birth records, and on Frank's birth record he is listed as a
labourer from South Side East
The 1921 census mistakenly lists John Harvey's birth-year as 1871.
Daughter Eva's birthdate is also off by one year and one month. Children
Georgina, Edith and Olive are omitted from the census record, and may have
died young. However, a "Marie" is listed, who's birth date corresponds
roughly to that of "Olive Marcie" from the St. Mary the Virgin baptism
register.
There is also a discrepency in the St. Mary the Virgin baptism record
regarding son George, who's father is mistakenly listed as Thomas(?)
William Harvey.
FRANCIS JOHN (JOHN) HARVEY
Married: May 14, 1896 (St. Mary's church marriage register).
