Darren Hayes and Daniel Jones released their debut album ‘Savage Garden’ in 1996. It produced the hits ‘I Want You’ ‘To The Moon And Back’ (UK top 3) and the record breaking ‘Truly Madly Deeply’ (UK Top 3) which topped the Billboard charts for an incredible 9 weeks. ‘Savage Garden’ topped the UK album chart and the Billboard Album Chart for 16 weeks and went on to become 10 x platinum worldwide.
Their sophomore album ‘Affirmation’ matched this success. It produced their second Billboard number 1 with ‘I knew I Loved You’ (UK top 3), and the massive hits ‘The Animal Song’ ‘Affirmation’ (UK top 5) and ‘Crash and Burn’.
