10 June: Geraldine Beskin - The Women of the Golden Dawn
The history of occult order the Golden Dawn is a fascinating one and it has maintained its status for the last 118 years with a large number of biographies having been written about its luminaries. The Women of the Golden Dawn were crucial to its success, their lives were radically different to the presumed lives of their contemporaries and we owe them all, in their individual ways a great debt.

Geraldine holds a genuinely eclectic view of esoteric matters, perhaps from being the middle one of three generations of the same family who have owned the famous Atlantis Bookshop in London – of which Crowley was the most notorious customer

8 July: Mark Pilkington - 'The Abuses of Enchantment
Hhow beliefs in UFOs, ghosts, vampires and other folkloric and supernatural phenomena have been exploited by military and intelligence operators.
Mark is the author of the forthcoming book 'Mirage Men: An Adventure into Disinformation, Paranoia and UFOs'.
