| Shuttlers' Clog are a group of
dancers and musicians who perform traditional clog and
broom dances. We perform to the music of the fiddle,
guitar and whistle. Many
of the dances originate from the mill towns in the North
of England, although some of the steps we use are
influenced by Irish and Scottish step dancing.
We dance at a variety of venues,
from local fetes and arts festivals to conferences and
national folk festivals. We normally dance outdoors in
the summer, but we are available for bookings throughout
the year.
We are based around Whaley
Bridge in Derbyshire and practice each Wednesday.
