Excerpt From Novel

The Tavern At The Edge Of Nowhere, is a set of closely linked time travel stories as told to the reader by the barman of a most unusual bar.  It was originally a set of five short stories published in an occasional series in STUNN and ST News magazines.  It was so well received that – a few years later – it was decided to re-structure it, add new material and turn it into a proper novel.  The Tavern At The Edge Of Nowhere is all about fun.  There is all sort’s of genre’s explored and the mickey taken out of.  Some new science fiction concepts have been added and old ones bent out of shape.  It is a true story.  The author has  been there.  He claims know the barman well.  Names have been changed only to protect the guilty.  Event’s have been screwed about with only to make them clearer – time travel really is awfully confusing!  The Jawman, is the life story of a serial killer who takes away an unusual object from the scene of his crimes (yup, you guessed it!) and you just will not believe who (or what) is telling the story.  Life, Death And An American Car is a twist on the traditional detective story.  The murder victim solves the crime!  There is much, much more at The Tavern At The Edge Of Nowhere

If you crossed Stephen King with Douglas Adams the result would be very much like Bryan H. Joyce who is a large very non-stereotypical Scotsman who doesn’t have red hair, a beard or wear a kilt.  He is a non-smoking, teetotaler who loves pasta and does not do chewing gum (though he did experiment with it for a few years before coming to his senses).

Since he was 15 years old, he has written numerous plays, screen plays, novels, short stories and non-fiction on genres as diverse as science fiction, horror, humor, romance and information technology.

He is the author of the recently published novel, “The Tavern At The Edge Of Nowhere” and is looking for a publisher for his work of non-fiction, “Cyber Exploiters - What Every One Should Know About Hackers”.  He admires the actress Joanna Lumley rather a lot and is thinking of stalking her.  Bryan H. Joyce is of such a enormously substantial intellect that he does not need to refer to the instruction manual when using a toilet brush.
