| The series III monocoque body/chassis unit is made from 1mm mirror like stainless steel with a all the structured sections made from thicker 1.5mm steel. It is a complete monocoque body/chassis unit and does not require any additional welding, bolting together or main panels fitting to it. It does not require painting. | |
| Nearly all the holes and apertures have been pre-cut, these include provision for fitting the whole of the donor vehicle's heating and demister system, dashboard instruments, handbrake and gear lever, fuse box and pedals. Apertures are also pre-cut to assist fitment of the petrol tank, exhaust, suspension, steering components, wipers, engine mountings and many more. The many apertures are cut during the manufacture of the body/chassis unit to ensure easy assembly. The whole of the scuttle (the panel the windscreen sits on) is detachable, enabling you to take it indoors with you at night when your wife demands your company and carry on wiring the instruments, fitting the wipers and covering the fascia with leather cloth on the dining room table! | |
| We urge you to view this advanced structure either at one of the many kit car shows we attend or at our factory. It is possible to prearrange a factory visit when you can also drive a Robin Hood itself, this is the acid test. The ride and the handling is excellent without creaks, bangs or rattles. Do not take our word or others, try it for yourself. | |
| The strength of the monocoque body/chassis unit is obvious and offers far better accident protection then the space frame type chassis. Fire resistance compared to glass reinforced plastic cars is far superior. |
