The west coast of Australia is a long way away from anywhere but it is certainly worth the trek.
Western Australia covers almost a third of the continent and is largely unpopulated. The landscape consists mainly of mountain ranges, strange rock formations and deserts.
Nestled on the banks of the Swan River is the loneliest city in the World and also the largest city in Western Australia, Perth. Perth is a modern and fairly attractive city with a climate that we would all wish for: dry, hot and plenty of sunshine (unlike here). Did you know Perth has more sunshine than any other capital city in Australia.
About 4 hours out from Perth is the Nambung National Park which is the home of the Pinnacles. The Pinnacles are ancient limestone pillars that rise from the ground standing in stark contrast to the yellow sand dunes that surround them.
