Why "Baggage Reclaim"?

Music, and especially the so-called "avant garde" has splintered into many, many apparently mutually exclusive styles and
interest groups. Baggage Reclaim is old enough to realise that by attempting to attempts to create something truly moderne,
the "avant garde" has thrown away a lot of "excess" baggage including melody, songs, communication, friendliness, humour and
presentation.
There was never any need to throw this away!
We reclaim it.
