Then at the end of February 2003, i went to London to meet up with my two friends, Liz and Lucy - Not really to see Darius, but to go to CD:UK and TOTP.  But when i checked Darius' website the day before i went, i found out that Darius was going to be at the Blue Peter studio's. 

It was an opportunity i could not afford to miss out on.

 

So, of course, we went.  And waited and waited, for what seemed like hours, but we got to meet him!

 

We didn't know what car Darius would be leaving the studios in, so me and lucy were holding up our poster and CD cover and asking the cars - "Have you got this man in your car?"

There were quite a few cars leaving and then two blacked out cars came out at the same time, and one of them stopped!!

 

Yes, you guessed it, it was none other than Darius!!

He chatted for about 10 minutes, holding up the cars trying to leave the studios.  It was quite funny!

I took the picture above and he signed my poster for me and signed Lucy's CD cover for her.

 

He was just like i had dreamed, sweet and a really nice man.  Though we couldn't talk for as long as i would have liked.

We then said we would see him the next day at CD:UK because i had hoped he would be there promoting hisd new single, which, at the time was called "Incredible".

 

Unfortunately, his manager said he wouldn't be there the day after, but the week after.  Though we told him we would see him on his Dive In Tour Concert in Cardiff in May 2003 and he said he would look out for us, and then had to leave.

 

Of course we went to CD:UK the following week!!!

(But thats another story)
