My Views
The second part to Lion of Macedon, both novels work well as stand alones but perhaps one of the best and perhaps quirkiest things about this novel is that it links back to something that was mentioned in the first novel from Aristotle. In addition to this it also shows the reader how the world of mythology mixed with the world of reality and portrays how perhaps the world should have been rather than was.
Definately a good Gemmell novel.
