Presentation College Glasthule under the trusteeship of the Presentation Brothers is a Catholic post-primary school for boys , composed of Students, Staff and Faculty .The Presentation community commits itself to the development of each Student in an encouraging and stimulating environment. Our Mission is to challenge students to strive for the highest levels of academic excellence and personal achievement. Arising from this Mission Statement we are committed to the following aims:

• Presentation College Glasthule strives to develop a well-balanced student through a combination of positive reinforcement and responsible correction.

Responsible correction will include extra work, after school detention, reduced break-time, loss of privileges, etc.

Activities And Learning Opportunities

• Irish and English language and debating and public speaking competitions..
• School and community service opportunities.
• Hands on operation of computers in the classroom.
• A comprehensive programme of subjects for both Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate.
• School trips to England and further afield in Europe.
• Adventure programmes in outdoor education centers such as Delphi and Gratan.
• Five acres of sport fields provide for Rugby,Athletics,Badminton,Basketball and Soccer.

Miscellaneous Information

Enrolment

Presentation College Glasthule currently enrols children from ages 12-16 normally at first year, but occasionally enrols suitable students to later years.

Location

Located in the Glasthule/Sandycove area of south County Dublin, Presentation College Glasthule is conveniently situated between Dun Laoghaire and Dalkey. The school is just minutes away from Dun Laoghaire town center. Transport to the college couldn't be easier - Sandycove DART station is beside the school and bus numbers 7, 7A,8,111 and 45A serve the College at frequent intervals.
