Pete's MONTGOMERY CANAL Photosite

The original aim in the construction of this photo-site was to share with you a selection of the many photo's that I took during the restoration work on the Montgomery Canal - Frankton to Queens Head sections.   Resulting from feedback and by popular demand , I have extended the site to include areas that have yet to be restored, or , have been partially restored. As changes occur, and information comes to hand, I will add to and update the sections. See the latest restoration photos, visit my main site "News" page.

Restored sections, Queens Head to Maesbury Marsh and Maesbury Marsh to Redwith ( now navigable as far as Gronwen Wharf ).

An additional section covering the Aston off line nature reserve is on line.

Sections also on line cover the whole of the canal as far as Newtown.
