Listed below are schools that have programs coinciding with the type of fundamental art training necessary for Disney Animators. These are currently the schools that participate in the Disney Animation Internship Program. This program is a 14 week intensive course of study designed for seniors or graduates from art schools and universities. It is not required that you attend these schools. These are simply the schools that Disney have found that have classes especially well suited for their needs. The important thing is that, wherever you study, you develop the appropriate drawing skills for animation.

Schools are re-evaluated on a yearly basis. Occasionally, institutions may be added or dropped from this list. It is important to note that attending these schools does not entitle an individual to a definite opportunity with Disney. Neither does attending an institution not on this list exclude one from submitting a portfolio. These schools simply have courses and requirements concurrent with the fundamental drawing skills and training in which Disney Animation if interested.
