Disney also recently filmed Kwan skating at a rink in Pasadena, Calif., to use as reference for animators of a skating competition between Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck in the upcoming video premiere collection of five stories called Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas, the first Disney animated video premiere to use 3D animation. It’s all part of Kwan’s reported three-year, $1 million-a-year deal to be Disney’s global spokeswoman.
