Best Known Project:
- Known for esculating Goofy to stardom by giving the character a unique manerism
- and a rather clumsy walk in such films as "Mickey's Service Station" and "Moving Day".
Other Projects:
- Also known for his animation of the Wicked Queen in "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs",
- Geppetto in "Pinocchio", the stork in "Dumbo", especially the mushrooms in the
- "Nutcracker Suite" segment of "Fantasia". He was instrumental in helping begin art
- classes for the animators.
Other Notes: As an active proponent of unions, he left Disney in 1941 at the time of
- the bitter strike, returning only briefly in 1946-47.
