- television show. He pioneered a method of pretiming animation with sound, and invented
- the bar sheet to coordinate the animation action with the soundtrack. Several of the
- cartoons he directed were honored with Academy Awards. He also worked as a sequence
- director on 11 features from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" to "Lady and the Tramp".
