    Joined Company: 1928
    First Project: Worked on "Steamboat Willie".
    Other Project:
    Jackson also served as animator, director, and as producer-director on the "Disneyland"
    television show. He pioneered a method of pretiming animation with sound, and invented
    the bar sheet to coordinate the animation action with the soundtrack. Several of the
    cartoons he directed were honored with Academy Awards. He also worked as a sequence
    director on 11 features from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" to "Lady and the Tramp".
    Retirement Date: 1961
