Recap activity from previous lesson ‘How does the
sun rise each morning’ ·
Discussion ‘Who were the Aztecs?’ Based on homework
from previous lesson. Main Activities: ·
Using worksheet discuss the focusing questions. Ask
pupils to be ready to give answers to these questions at any time ·
In turn read through the sheet. (possible ‘pass it
on’ reading game) ·
Teacher explanation where appropriate ·
Discuss the focusing questions ·
Talk through tasks ·
Pupils work on tasks Plenary: ·
With closed books answer focusing questions in group session. ·
