Terms and Conditions
- License - All trainees must be in possession
of a current provisional driving license on commencement of training.
- Payment - Payment must be made prior to
commencement of lessons. Cash or cheques are accepted.
- Insurance - Fees include trainees' cover for
insurance liability claims whilst driving the school's vehicles, providing that
the trainee is duly accompanied by an instructor in employ of the school.
- Cancellations - The school has the right to
charge for any lessons not cancelled at least 48 hours before they are due to
begin. Deposits are refundable at the discretion of the management.
- Official Driving Tests - The school reserves
the right to withhold vehicles for the driving test if, in the school's
opinion, the trainee does not reach the required standard. The test fee will be
forfeited if ten clear days notice is not given. This does not include
Saturdays and bank holidays.
- Appointments - Whilst every care will be
taken to ensure that trainees receive the training at all times and with the
instructor booked, all bookings are made on the understanding that the school
is not responsible for the postponement of training due to mechanical breakdown
of equipment, absence of staff or any other cause. Neither can the school be
responsible for driving test appointments postponed by the Driving Standards
Agency.
- Personal Property - Naturally every
endeavour is made to safeguard the personal property of trainees, but we point
out that the school accepts no liability whatsoever for jewellery, cash,
clothing or any other property that may be left on the schools premises.
- In case of Fog, ice or snow please ring the
instructor.
