While cruising around the South Pacific for 12 years on a ten-meter sail boat, itinerant writer/photographer Sally Andrew contributed a yachting column to Pacific Islands Monthly magazine. During that time and since she has done commissioned and freelance work for several international publications, including Yachting World (UK), Practical Boat Owner (UK),Sailing (USA), Sail (USA), Cruising Helmsman (Australia), Sailing New Zealand, Fluvial (France); polo photos for Pololine International (Argentina) and local newspapers in the UK; celebrity shots for OK Magazine and Hurtwood Park Polo Club (UK); rock band photography for Artegraphia (Spain); archival shots of paintings by Canadian water-colourists. Commissioned works include marina photography in Australia; tourism photos in Tasmania; images of traditional boats and canoes for New Zealand's National Maritime Museum; and creation of web site for the Small Faces Charitable Trust (UK).
