As from today Wednesday
5th November 2003,
Membership of the Northern Ireland Veterans Association
is officially open.
Details are as follows:
Membership
is open in three categories:
- Full Memberhsip
Of the Northern Ireland Veterans Association.
This category will be open to all Members of HM Forces
and 999 services that served in Northern Ireland
- Associate membership
Of the Northern Ireland Veterans Association.
Open to all other members of HM Forces, 999 services,
and civil servants.
Additionally any other person sympathetic to the aims
of the Association may apply, all applications will
be vetted by the committee.
- Honorary membership
Of the Northern Ireland Veterans Association.
Honorary membership is a special category, which
may only be awarded by the committee
Cost of membership
The committee have decided that a one off joining fee of
£10 per application is to be made, this is to be used
in assisting the set up of the Association.
Details regarding annual costs for each category will be
posted shortly.
All Cheques should be
made payable to : NIVA
Benefits of Membership
Initially each member will benefit from
the following:
- Access to the new NIVA forum (the
current forum will be phased out in
line with membership)
- Newsletter providing information
on subjects pertinent to veterans
Proposed Benefits:
- Niva Tie pin/brooch
- Niva Tie
- Unique Email Address you@nivets.co.uk
(this will be a name of your choosing
enabling you to preserve your anonimity)
- Any other benefits that the association
can arrange.
Applicants should, in the first instance complete the membership
form below detailing which category of membership they would
like to apply for.

completing please note that only one form
confirming service in Northern Ireland is
required
