Short-eared Owl 23rd November

Flight shots are not the
easiest of images to get, these Short-eared Owls were hunting some
paddocks near the road at Shingle street, I used the car as a mobile
hide, with my camera mounted on the Wimberley head and Benbo tripod over
the passenger seat, quite often the birds came very close, seeming
inquisitive, I find that it is possible to get very much closer than
when on foot using this method. In total I got 126 shots, these are the
best ones.
