This month started much like last month finished, still not quite happy that I had managed to get the best out of the Short-eared Owls at Shingle Street I paid a couple more visits, these trips came up with what I had been trying to get, the 4 shots below being the pick of the bunch, I still have not got the shots of a perched bird that I would like so I will have to return there for another go.
I have a 'soft spot' for Lapwings and on one particular day at Shingle Street one gave me a good few nice images, the one below was possibly the best of it as it got airborn.
The Little Egret was to busy fishing to be bothered by my presence.
I have also spent a good amount of time at my feeding station, the Robins are very easy to photograph here and have started singing and displaying ready for nesting in the oncoming months.
The Blackbirds are very tame too.....
