The Living Room Services
The centre offers availability to all, irrespective of race, religion, sex, disability or age. (Clients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
The Living Room operates from it's centre in Chells, Stevenage meeting the needs
of individuals from Stevenage and surrounding areas.
Sessions Available
Group Work - Monday to Friday
(2 groups per day) 10.30 - 12pm and 1.00 - 2.30pm
Additional groups
Relationship Addiction - Monday Evenings - 7.30 - 9pm
Eating Disorder Group - Tuesday Mornings - 10.30 - 12pm
Family Support Group - Thursday Mornings - 10.30 - 12pm
IT Training - Thursday afternoons - 3.00 - 5pm
Art Therapy - Friday afternoons - 1.00-2.30pm
Aftercare
Assistance with engaging in college courses
Assistance with form filling, C.V. writing and job applications
Assistance with social skills and interviewing techniques
Crèche
We offer a crèche facility to those clients attending group therapy for children aged 0-5 years. The crèche is open for four half days per week, with a view to expanding in the future.
The facilities in the crèche include a craft area, role-play area and soft play for babies.
We aim to enable clients to:

By abstaining from the use of drug of addiction.
To Repair
By assisting in equipping, by using a new set of tools for living in a positive direction.
To Restore
By using the learned tools for new life managing skills, changing old
behaviour patterns and thought processes.
To Renew
By reaffirming and learning to love and respect a new found freedom from addiction -
Thus moving forward with a new attitude to life.
