Mailing lists and Email forwarding
Finding a Mailing List
Finding a mailing list that suits your interests, entirely via email
has become less easy as Liszt, the mailing list directory
at http://www.liszt.com/ no longer accepts email search requests.
Emotional support
Information on lists designed to give moral and emotional support to people (and their families and carers) with specific problems or medical condition can be found at
http://www.cix.co.uk/~net-services/care/
Alternatively a list can be retrieved by sending a blank email message to care@netservs.com
Free email addresses
It is often advisable not to use your ISP-given email address when subscribing to mailing lists
Whilst a number of free-email addresses are only available for those who want to read their email on-line,
quite a number will just forward your email to another email of your choice.
Details of where to obtain such addresses can be found at
the Free Email Address Directory at http://www.emailaddresses.com/
When sending messages to mailing lists, please observe the rules of netiquette.
An excellent guide to editing emails can be found at

Another source of very useful information on email topics is the
