| Born 1952, Tim
is one of New Zealands most succesfull singer/songwriters.
Spending 12 years with the group 'Split Enz', Tim penned and
co-wrote many of the bands Hits, including 'I see red', 'Dirty
Creature' and 'Six Months in a leaky boat'. Whilst Still a
member of Split Enz, Tim released his first Solo album 'Escapade'.

Leaving Split Enz in 1984
(shortly followed by the Break up of the band) Tim changed
Label to Virgin and recorded 'Big Canoe' (1986). After recording
the soundtrack for 'Les Patterson Saves the World', Tim went
on to record his third solo album with Crowded House producer
Mitchell Froom, the selftitled 'Tim Finn', heralding a number
of singles. After the release Tim joined his Brothers Band
'Crowded House' for the recording of 'Woodface' (1991), the
bands third release. The album was a commercial success on
both Album and single sales'. After touring Tim left Crowded
House to pursue his solo career. Building his own studio 'Periscope',
Tim went onto record 'Before & After |
| After the albums release in
'93 and single releases, Tim went onto Join Andy White and
Liam O'Maonlai in the band ALT, releasing one album, altitude
at the end of 1995. Tim then rejoined his Brother Neil to
write the Album 'Finn' as the 'Finn brothers'. releasing the
singles 'Suffer Never' and 'Angels Heap'. In 1996 Tim contributed
to ENZO, the orchestration of classic split enz songs. In
2000 Tim released 'Say it's So', shortly folowed in 2001 by
Tim's newest release, 'Feeding the Gods'. |
