Its been three weeks since steph left Ramsey Street with alex. Max has been
feeling reallly depressed since she left. He wishes he could turn back time and
tell her how he felt.
Summer.Morning dad.
Max.oh hi summer, want some breakfast.
Summer. No thanks dad, im poping over to the scullys to see if they
have any news from Steph.
Just hearing her name made his sleepy eyes awaken.
Max. Oh,ok.
Summer. I cant wait till steph comes home, shes pretty and funny
and kind and.......
Max interrupts.
max. anything else
Summer. I could go on all day.
Max. yes, she is a very remarkable girl.
Summer. Women dad, stephs a very remarkable women.
Summer left and headed over to the scullys.
She later returned looking very pleased.
Max. blimey, i havnt seen you smile this big since the film ,
Bridget Jones, was released and i bought it for you.
Summer. They have heard from Steph.
Max. Thats good.
Summer. And because im missing Steph Lyngave me a photo of me and
her.
Summer held it up. Max studied the picture hard. It was the photo
of Summer and Steph at the Mother-Daughter fashion show.
Didnt she look beautiful. Max thought to himself.
Summer. Isnt she gorgeous.
Max. Yes, yes she is.
Max couldnt keep his feelings bottled up for much longer. It had
been 3 weeks since Steph had left but it felt like a whole century had passed
and he was missing her like hell.

Max woke up the next day and found a postcard lying next to him on the bed.
Summer must have put it there.
Max. rubbed his eyes and took a look at what it read.
Hi Max, How are you? Its gorgeous out here. I hope the tigers(Maxs
Team) are doing well. Not....... I hope you are all well. And i miss you all
very much. Your a great friend and i dont want you to forget that. So i have
added a little present in the card. Hope you like it. See you soon. Luv Steph
He looked in the card and there was a rock she had carved in his
name on it and it looked really nice. She had also named 3 stars after all their
names. Summer, boyd and Max.
Max. Oh Steph, come home to me please.
Later that day ma received a phone call. Lou needed Max to go over
to Sydney and do a deal with one of the other pubs over there.
Max arranged his flights and Libby offered to look after the kids
as Rosie was also away.
This trip was one to remember.

Max arrived at Sydney airport and made his way to the hotel olipia. The hotel
was huge and in the evening max decided to go to explore the city a bit.
He packed up his stuff and went to a pub.
When he stepped in he realised it wasnt just an ordinary pub so he
reversed and walked out.
As he walked outhe pumped into a young man.
Max. Sorry Mate, Alex..........
Alex. Hi max, what are you doing here.
Max. Im here signing a deal for lou, Im only here for a couple of
days.
Alex. God, Its a small world.
Max. Yeah, where's Steph.
Alex. Oh shes over there in that bar.
Max looked over. The bar was called "for your eyes only".
Max. Isnt that a..............
Alex. Yeah, Steph said she needed the money. We got robbed of all
out money and the only thing left to sell is the bikes. She didnt want to sell
hers so she's working in there. I sold my bike but she wouldnt sell hers.
Max. So shes decided to strip for money instead.
Alex. I know what your thinking, I cant stop her, she wont listen.
They said goodbye to each other and Max made his way over to the
club.
Max thought. Im not a pervert like most of these men, but i need to
see steph.
So he paid his money and he got a ticket for 1 free dance and he
could choose who he wanted to dance for him. He choose silkey Steph.
He needed to speak to her. He would pay for her flight home.
He made his way into the room. It was pitch black. All you could
see was the outlines of half nacked ladies dancing for some sick men.

Max was lead to a little table in the corner of the room and he say down. He was
lead to the table by a lady called lisa.
Max.. So what happens then.
Lisa. well steph will come out and dance for you.
Max. Ok;
Lisa. Take your seat.
Max sat down and Lisa left him there. A couple of minutes later he
saw a slimline figure coming towards him. It was pitch black in there so he
couldnt be sure. But he knew by her voice it was her.
Steph. Hello sir.
She started to dance for max. Not realising who it was because it
was too dark in there. She leant over towards his face. Max didnt want her to
stop but he had to talk to her.
He whispered to her.
Max. Hi steph.
Steph. Oh my God, Max..What are you doing here.
Max. Im in Sydney for a couple of days to do a deal with some pub
for lou.
Steph. How did you know i was here.
Max. Alex told me, i saw him in a pub over the road.
Max. Why are you doing this steph.
Steph. I needed the money to get home. I had no fuel in my bike.
Max. Why didnt you call me. I thought we were friends.
Steph. we are.
Max. Come on lets go to my hotel and talk.
Steph. Ok.
Steph got changed and got paid by the owner of the club.
They arrived back at Maxs hotel and they went up to his room.
They sat down.
Max. Steph, you should have rung someone we would have helped you
back home.
Steph. I know. But i have enough now and im getting the next flight
home.
Max. You might be on my flight.
Steph. I hope so.
Max. Look steph, we need to talk.
Steph. I know we do....
Max. Look, you probably dont know this but i think im in love with
you.
Steph. Really, do you mean that. I love you but i had to leave to
keep you out of my mind. I thought you were with Joanne.
Max. No way, shes annoying. Its you I want.
Steph is sitting on the bed. Max walks over to her and starts
kissing her.
Steph. Oh Max................
Max. I love you
They start getting very passionate and do things i cant mention or
i will get chucked of.

The morning. Max wakes up. he cant believe what happened last night. It was
incredible. he looked to his left and then to his right but there was no sign of
steph.
Max. Steph...........
Steph. Im here, she walked in with a tray full of a english
breakfast for max.
Max. Oh, i thought you had left me.........
Steph. after last night, i wont be going anywhere.
Max. good.
Max. yuuuuuuummmmmmmmmyyyyyy, that looks nearly as scrummy as you
steph.
Steph. Oh, thats a first.
Max. What is......
Steph. being compared to a english breakfast.
Max. oh that.
Steph. what time is your flight.
Max. My flight. I thought you were coming with me.
Steph. There is no room on that flight.
Max. well, im staying with you. we will have to get the 4.00pm
flight instead.
Steph. you dont have to...
Max. i know, i want to.
steph. i love you.
Max. I love you too, and last night was amazing.
Steph. I know.
Max. So are we doing a bit of shopping today before we leave.
Steph. You dont mind...............
Max. No, i love shopping.......
Steph. I have found my perfect partner then.
Max. Yes............
Steph. Ill go and get ready.
They both get ready and head towards the citys main shopping
district.
After Steph retrieved her credit card and the four hours shopping
they board the plane back to erinsborough.
They arrive back in erinsborough about 1 hour later.
It is quite late and Max offers to let her stay, but steph insisted
that she needed to tell her parents about him and her.
they parted with a passionate kiss.

The next morning. There was a knock at the hoylands door. Summer answered. she
was not yet aware that steph was back and also about her dad and her
relationship.
Summer. Steph.
Steph. Hey summer, how are you.
Summer. Fine thanks.
Steph. Is your dad in.
Summer. Sure. DDAAADDDDDD!, Its Steph
Max. Hi, how are you.
Steph. im fine thanks.
Summer leaves them to chat in the front room.
Max. How did it go last night.
Steph. Quite well, actually they seem quite pleased.
Max. Now its just me. I need to tell summer and Boyd.
Steph. DO you want me to leave when you do it.
Max. Yeah, ok.
Boyd. Hi Steph, what are you doing back here.
Steph. Oh, im just visiting, anyway i better be going.
max. ok, see you later.
steph. bye
steph leaves and max and boyd sit down
