on the day Stuart brakes up with her (the days are a bit different due to the
time difference). Flick lives in an apartment in New York with two friends, Kira
and Eve. Kira is more of a hippie kinda person and Eve is more of a "Dont-mess-with-me-or-else"
person.

is my new Journal on my new laptop, as my old one on my old laptop broke, so
I'll continue where I left it...

Stuart
broke up with me last night/early this morning, I lied and said I had doubts
about the wedding too, I told mum over the phone about it, she seemed calm about
it. ... I need to go now, Kira wants a hat or something.

I
had a really odd day today, first Stuart broke up with me (I know you know),
then I was late for my breakfast at my friend's house due my cab being late,
After getting to the house, I got the wrong date, it was next week, So I went to
a coffee shop around the corner, but it was shut due to the toaster making burnt
toast! After all that I went home to see that a TV van was outside my next-door
neighbour's house and the cab couldn't park next to the apartment, and the cab
had to drop me a few blocks away from my apartment!
When
I got to the apartment, I saw a bunch of roses on the doorstep, For me! First I
thought they were from Stuart, saying sorry or something but It wasn't his
handwriting, it was just a big: ? ! I don't know what to do... I have to make
myself some food now, I'm hungry for some reason, I have just ate so that's
odd...

I
don't feel well today, I better go to the doctors, I need to take time off work
for that, and I'm lucky that I have a very kind manager at this Lassiter's. I'm
still wondering who gave me the roses, Kira said that I could borrow her Tarot
cards to find out, but I don't think Tarot cards can tell me who send me the
flowers... I better go and ring the doctors.

I
rang them up at 7.00am, they were okay about me coming in and everything, I will
go there after work, talking about work, I better get ready, I hope the Coffee
shop has fixed that toaster...

Why?
Why me? Why all in the same week? I can't believe what's Happened... I haven't
told Kira or Eve yet, but they will be easy to tell, how will I tell my family?
I guess I better tell you what's happened; well I was at the doct... wait a
minute. ....... I have to go, Kira wants an apartment meeting or something...

I
told them last night at the apartment meeting, they were surprised but they
wanted me to stay, all I could do was hug them, they are the best friends in the
whole world. Wait... you still don't know what happened do you? Well, i'm... i'm
pregnant, with Stuarts child... The odd thing about this is that I took a test a
month ago and it said it was negative, I told this to the doctor, she said that
sometimes the test isn't always right. That does kinda solve all my problems
like, why was I getting bigger and stuff. Now I have to find out how i'm gonna
tell my family... and Stuart.

I
need help, I don't know what I should do next, I have booked a scan in and
that's about it, I wish I had someone to talk to who has been though this, I
need my mum. Kira said that she had a friend who was pregnant and she joined a
online help website which helped her alot, maybe I should do that, Eve said she
will change the guest room to the baby's room, I thought this was very kind of
her, I have to go, the phones ringing and I have to go to work...

I
had a surprising day at work, I told Dave (Lassiter's Manager) about me being
pregnant, he seemed surprised but he said that was okay and that he will be okay
about me staying here longer!, I didn't know what he meant by me staying longer,
and he said that the airline i'm gonna travel back home doesn't allow pregnant
woman on their flights! I couldn't believe it, now I guess your thinking
"Go on another airline then" But I can't afford it, life's a mess I
can't even go home now, until I give birth...

have decided to tell Steph that i'm pregnant, I'm gonna make her not tell ANYONE
else, not mum, not dad and not Stuart. I guess I better call her now, I wonder
what the time is over there...

are you okay? Me: I'm okay, well, i'm not... Steph: Flick, what's up? Me: Um..
I'm fine; sorry for calling bye. And I hung up.
So
I didn't do it... I can't even tell my sister, let alone Stuart...

I
went to work today, it was a normal day but with a twist, I got another bunch of
roses on my desk with this note: "I will always be there for you, I will be
with you forever" Wow was all I could think of, I asked Kira and Eve if
they have told anyone about me being pregnant, Kira said no but Eve said yes, I
asked them if they knew anyone with that handwriting on the card, they said no,
I really have no idea who send it to me. On another thought, I have just
realised that I have been pregnant for 2 months now without knowing it, that's
along time...

I
got a phone call today from mum, she says that Aunt Valda has visited, she said:
"I think the only was we can get her out of here was that if you needed
anything and she could come and stay with you!" I laughed and she said that
Steph had told her about my phone call to her yesterday, all I could do was
pretend that someone was at the door and I had to hang up, It worked, I was
lucky this time but what about next time? I hope I can fix this all soon.

I
went home after work today, (it's half day on Fridays) I normally go to the
Coffee shop, but I'm glad I did go home, Tad called and said he was coming to
New York and wondered if we had a spare room that he could stay in for a few
nights, I said yes, I now hope that the girls won't mind a lad staying with us
for a bit...

told the girls about Tad staying a bit, Kira said it was fine and Eve was very
happy about it, I have shown pictures of Tad, and Eve has a crush on him, so
that's kinda good, I think...

just got a call from Stuart, I was wondering why he was calling me, he asked if
he could have the ring back, as he can now return it to the shop and get his
money back, I just said yes then I hung up, I couldn't really do anything else.
I feel like a fool...

I
woke up later this morning, that's what Saturdays are for right? Kira asked why
I was up last night; she laughed and said she thought a burglar was here last
night. Eve only heard half of that sentence and she said in a angry voice:
"Why didn't you tell me a burglar was here last night? Did he nick the CD
player?" Kira and me joked with her a bit and said that he nicked all her
rock CDs and all her black boots. At the moment she's looking around the
apartment to see if the "Burglar" took any more stuff...

and me went out for lunch today, while Eve was went out to the beauty parlour,
that's for 2 reasons: 1) She found out that Kira and me were playing a joke on
her. 2) She wants to look good for when Tad comes.
Anyway,
I had an odd moment at Lunch today, for some reason I wanted to have nothing but
chocolate milkshakes, is that my cravings? I hope so. After lunch, I came home
to see a ticket to go to the new spa opening up in New York! It was from the
same person who gave me the roses, cos the handwriting was the same. I went down
to Spa and they said the tickets were real, not fake, I can't believe it...

got a call from Tad last night, he said he was coming today, I have told Kira
but not Eve, I don't know why I haven't told her, I guess I want to see the look
on her face when Tad arrives and she's not looking cool! Anyway, I have to get
some food in me so ta.

called when I was out and Eve picked up the phone, she was well angry at me when
she found out he was coming today, anyway he said that he will be here about
midday, which was okay with me but Eve went in a strop due to that she needed to
move her manicure to 10:00am. At breakfast I ate 2 bowls of cereal and 5 toast,
is that normal?

It
seems like forever since I last saw Tad, he looks alot different, he also has a
new hairdo, he has sholder lenf hair! Eve didn't like him like this and she
sulked off in her room. So Me, Tad and Kira went out for Lunch after Tad his
stuff in the spare room.
