Nama-hatta Forum
"Nama-hatta"
literally means "the market of the holy name." The analogy
comes from Godruma Kalpatavi, a book by Srila Bhaktivinoda
Thakura where he compares the sankirtana movement of
Lord Caitanya to a marketplace, where the holy name
is acquired and distributed.
Eventually
the term Nama-hatta came to especially indicate congregational
preaching, activities taking place outside the asramas.
In this email conference preachers and community-builders
from all over the world share their experiences, their
successes and challenges, their questions and answers.
To
join the conference write to
nama.hatta.forum@pamho.net and kindly give some
details of your situation. This is an internal ISKCON
conference so we request you to kindly provide some
evidence of your affiliation. Thank you.
