1. 1. Your email address must be valid during the registration and during the time you are on our site. If your email address isn't valid you may miss
out on getting important updated information from the administrators. If you do not keep a valid email address, and you violate any rules, you will be expelled immediately by one of our administrators.
2. You may only have one username/account on this site. Creating multiple accounts for your brothers, sisters and any family members is allowed. All of them will be sorted into the same house as the first account by our sorting system. Do not choose a username that will attract negative attention to yourself or is offensive. Do not use ALL CAPS in your username. We reserve the right to suspend/terminate any account for any reason.
3. This is a site for Harry Potter fans of all ages; any material you send, or write, may not contain vulgar language or anything inappropriate for
children. This includes NO PORNOGRAPHY. Anyone who posts an inappropriate message will be warned and have their material will be
deleted. Any future incidents will result in that member begin expelled permanently. If you post pornography you will be expelled without warning.
You also agree that you will not attack any user personally. Any member attacking another member will receive a warning and have their PM/material removed. Any future incident thereafter, will result in that member's account being expelled.
4. You agree not to steal/borrow any pictures/text/content/work that is not yours, on this site, without written consent from our staff or the owner.
You may submit materials to Mystic Hogwarts, however when you do you automatically give us consent to use those materials. Do not
submit someone else's work, and if you are under 18 always ask your parents permission before submitting material(s). (Due to copyright laws
this is applied to all countries).
5. Cheating/Hacking, attempting to hack, anything even pertaining to using someone else's account without their permission, or trying to
cheat or hack this site is strictly forbidden. You will be expelled, and we will report you. There are sites on the internet that provide this service
for us (reporting).
6. Administrators and moderators are not to be argued with when enforcing rules/guidelines. Anyone arguing with an administrator/moderator against disciplinary measures will first receive a warning or Azkaban. Any future incidents will result in the user being expelled.
7. Administrators are not to be argued with when enforcing ANYTHING. The Administrators own and operate Mystic Hogwarts and have the right to operate it in the way they choose. Breaking this rule can lead to being sent to Azkaban or even getting expelled.
8. Please do not use ALL CAPS in your thread titles and dont use it to yell at people, it is never needed. Any thread with a title in all caps will be deleted. A thread title posted in all caps and a single lowercase will also be deleted. Try to use appropriate capitalization and punctuation. Don't use excessive smiles or punctuation. Our administrators reserve the right to edit/delete/move any post/material on this site without given notice.
9. You may include a signature in your posts, but be aware that it should be kept fairly short. Your signature should be no more than 200 pixels tall and/or 2 small graphics. Your signature may be removed if it causes problem on our members/site. PLUS you may get a warning. If we find the signature or avatar offensive your account may be deleted without notice.
10. You understand that our staff will occasionally send emails to its members when there is a major site update or for other reasons pertaining to an individual's account.
11. Mystic Hogwarts is not responsible or can't guarantee that files given to you by other users won't contain infection or viruses, worms,
Trojan horses or any other code that manifests contaminating or destructive properties. YOU OPEN THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
12. Advertising for other websites is to only be done on the Forum inacated. If a thread is made advertising a website is outside of that forum, the thread is subject to deletion or being moved without notice.
13. Spamming is not allowed. By spamming we mean:
~ Do not make useless answer to every thread on a page just to be able to see your own name all over that page.
~ Do not submit a thread more than one time.
~ Do not PM several people that you dont know asking them to rp, visit your profile/store/website ect.
14. NEVER give your password to anyone who asks for it. None of the admin will ever ask you for your password, and if they do you should report it to a different one. If you give out your password and lose your account there is nothing the admins can do.
15. We strongly disadvise the use of personal information. Mystic Hogwarts is not responsible for your use of it in your Profile. Mystic Hogwarts will never give away information supplied by a user.
If you violate any of the rules, your message/post/material may be deleted or your account could be suspended permanently and, in the case of hacking etc., possibly be reported to the police. The administrators can edit and add rules as they feel needed without any given notice. If any big changes are made there will be an email sent to all the users.
