Hope you enjoyed seeing the Beltring War & Peace photos. Now for some more photos of our favourite vehicle.

Above....no, it's not a mutt in disguise. It's a Corvair from the early 60's. This is the car that was quoted in numerous complaints against the M151 and M151A1....it had the same style of swing-arm rear suspension....and unfortunately...it had the same unpredictable handling on curves. Nice-looking car, though.
Below.....here's a photo from the Russ MacNeil collection which was sent to me a few years ago. A trailer-load of AMG M151A2s on their way from the factory in the 70's.
Below - An AMG M151A2 being used for airdrop practice. Looks like it landed ok....A few years ago, Colin Benn in UK had one that had landed "unhappily" and was seriously buckled. I think he used it for parts.
