Starting: Due to money, you will not be able to do loads of gigs abroad or tours, the only way to gig for free is to do a gig in your own country, so make sure you remember what country to put down in the start.

After a few gigs, you will build up your reputation. You will then be able to get some free press releases. Another way to build up your reputation is to do publicity stunts. Publicity stunts could help, but they are risky, there is only a 1 in 3 chance that you will be successful from them, but if you are unsuccessful, your band's morale will be damaged.

Make sure you get the band members to practice. Look at their stats and improve the stats which are already good (e.g. if a person has a sing rating of 50, improve that, they can then become the singer). Lessons will also help the members' stats, but cost money, so only do that once you have more money.

Paid advertising will help, but make sure you have money before you do that because it could clean out all your money.

Once you are famous enough, you will be able to get a record deal and a loan. Once you have them, you will be able to release singles and albums, but you will only do well with them if you gig to keep your reputation up during the release.
