Tré Mouth's Bootlegz

This is it. Officially More Boring Days' last update. The site's been dead for a while now (almost a year), and the reasons for this are as follows:
1. There's nothing really to update.  There were never as many serious collectors or tapers of Green Day live shows as there were for bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, or even Nirvana, so it's not like there's a myriad of updates in the pipeline anyway.  The few updates I have left are to the gigography and contained here.
2. I hate to say this, but so it would seem that Green Day is a dead band.  As far as I know they're not touring or recording.  True, there was a 3 year space between Nimrod and Warning, but the three years since Warning have only brought International Superhits and Shenanigans, and "greatest hits" compilations are usually the "kiss of death" for popular bands.  Even if they physically release another album, I doubt it'll be able to compare to their glory days.
3. I don't even really listen to Green Day anymore... and even if I did, I'm just too busy to update, with college really wearing me down.  It's not that I don't like Green Day anymore, they've still got a lot of great songs, I just don't listen to them all the time to be really considered a fair authority on them anymore.

Besides that raw update linked above, this last update will also contain a link to http://www.greendayboots.kit.net. Personally I can't access it, but I think it might just be my computer.  This site is run by Luis, the man behind Tre Mouth's Bootlegz, which is already listed, so I don't doubt its existence.  For whatever reason it's just not working for me.

Well, I hope I'm wrong about Green Day being a dead band lacking in serious collectors and tapers.  To those out there who've accessed or contributed at one site or another, keep fighting the good fight.  I wish I could.

Holy moly, it's been a while, eh? Well, I finally got a chance to update the site again and let you all know I'm still alive.  For now, all there is is a new affiliate, GreenDayCrap.com, and a scan-less (because my scanner doesn't work on my computer I'll have to wait and use my mom's scanner) entry for Surprise Gig at CBGB Studio in the bootography.  But hey, it's still better than nothing, right? It's the first (and only) new commercial release in months that I'm aware of anyway, so there's not much else I can do.

Actually, given the release tomorrow of the b-sides collection Shenanigans, there will be even less importance for this side from the perspective of collecting b-sides on import singles, so aside from possibly posting a comparison page if there are any b-sides that aren't on Shenanigans, I won't be so quick to seek out and purchase imports for updating that either.  Which is good because I'm out of money from buying too many damn DVDs lately anyway ;-).

Actually, I hope nobody minds that I plan on adding some non-Green Day content to round out the site.  I write DVD reviews of "crappy" low-budget/sci-fi/b-flicks and wrestling recaps for TheSmartMarks.com, and I plan on adding an archive of my columns here.  If you mind... well... too bad! :-P

ALSO, I CAN'T DO ANY TRADING RIGHT NOW BECAUSE MY BURNER ISN'T COMPATIBLE WITH MY LAPTOP AND MY OLD COMPUTER IS STILL BROKEN!

For some bootleg info I haven't formatted for MBD yet, check out new affiliate Tré Mouth's Bootlegz.  Luis, the webmaster, is the man.  'Nuff said. :-)
