*sigh*
And now it really is New Year's Eve. And I'm sitting here redesigning this thing, cos I really hate the shiny control panel, not that it really matters seeing as its only me using it. I wanted to get rid of the repeating images, just have it simple and plain. Unfortunately I'm too lazy assed to wade through all the files to find where it is that it writes the images to the page. So I've just replaced the images with lil Lotr buttons. So basically it just looks a mess. What do I care, as long as I've got pretty pics of Hugo Weaving and Viggo Mortensen to look at I'm happy.
Apart from the fact that I was hoping to crash a party tonight, and that no longer looks like it's gonna happen. Which is where the big *sigh* comes from, I guess, cos it looks like it'll be yet another New Year's with the neighbours. At least it's free booze.
The other thing I've got to try and work out is what categories I should have for this. Cos I will of course inevitably end up writing up stuff, and I don't just want to dump them all in here. Like Dinotopia. Have been watching it, and once you accept that its really rather silly it becomes magical and brilliant. I always used to look at the pictures in the book when I was little and was fascinated, but I never actually read it. Anyway, it always used to remind me of that bit in Crystal Palace park with the big models/statues.
At least this site will keep me entertained.

First Entry
Well this is my blog software. And the fact that I'm using it is really rather disappointing, cos I really wanted to code/program my own. But I'm lazy and really can't be bothered. So for the moment I'm using this, until I start tinkering with Carl's php and feel satisfied that I've done something that is my own work enough to use that instead.
So it's almost New Year's Eve, msn is pissing me about, and I'm feeling thoroughly disillusioned. What else is new? Not much I guess. "Life continues, much as it has this past Age." Hehe, oh yeah, if you hadn't picked up, I'm behaving like a bit of a nut at the moment. Lotr this, lotr that, watching "My Precioussss", my ext dvd pretty much every day, plotting cunning plans to get to go see the Two Towers again.
