| This is a classic plastic
kit from the late seventies, first introduced when Matchbox started producing
their (what was at that time), "new" range of WWII wargaming figures and
plastic kits.
The "Rommel" figure is hard-plastic from the Matchbox Wespe. The passengers are also hard styrene and come with the Matchbox Sd.Kfz 7 prime-mover. The worst part about the kit is the track assembly, very thick and not well detailed - Fujimi make a version of this model and the track is soft plastic too but a lot more detailed. You might notice from the photo that the "sag" in the tracks has been obtained using sewing thread between the shafts of the wheels and tracks to hold the latter down.
