Taken from Cymru Alliance appointments letters: Officials must travel together (only one expense would normally be paid) unless not logistically possible and must be
present at the ground at least 45 minutes prior to kick off. The referee must make contact with his Assistants at least 3 days prior to the match to confirm travel arrangements irrespective of whether you are travelling
together or not. When matches are called off the referee must contact the Assistants to ensure they are aware the match has been postponed. Would all clubs ensure that the safety and welfare
of Officials is taken seriously and ensure that a minimum of one steward is available to escort the officials from the fielf of play at both half-time and full-time. A yellow fluorescent top is considered appropriate.
This is the responsibilty of the home team. Where officials are unfamilar with the areas that their colleagues require picking up please leave sufficient time and ensure that you are clear as to the picking
up point. Club secretaries must ensure that all 3 officials are contacted at leats 5 days prior to the match for confirmation of ground location, kick off time etc. It is not considered appropriate just to
leave a message as it is easy for a mix up to occur. Team sheets must be handed to the referee no later than 30 minutes prior to kick-off. Please note that all home clubs must report the result of the match
within 20 minutes of the final whistle to BBC Wales on 01248 371760. All referees have been instructed that players are to be removed from the field of play for treatment where possible (except
goalkeepers). If the injury is serious and treatment needs to be carried out on the field of play the player must then go off after receiving treatment until given the signal to come back on by the referee. This
instruction is as per Laws of the Game as published by the FA of Wales. |
