Saturday February 3rd Venue: Coed Glas School Two wonderful victories! After a ropey first game the lads picked themselves up to produce two fantastic performances. The first of these was a 4-0 win against Heol Hir. It was a superb well organised performance with every part of the team doing their job superbly! The opposing strikers were unable to get a look in against our solid defence and the midfield and attack ran their opponents ragged! The goals included a real sneaky long range effort from Sam and I was lucky enough to standing right next to the goal when it went in! Unfortunately I had my camera in my pocket and just couldn't get it out in time! The last game was against our own Marlboro Sports Club A and it was the game of the day with both sides battling hard but sportingly! (Our lads wore blue bibs as we have identical colours!) Our heroes finished the victors scoring two well taken goals in the process while again our defence remained unbreached. The goals really are now rattling in at a very pleasing rate and our defence is getting more and more mean! This can only lead to success in the future! |
