After leading for most of the first half the lads conceded a goal near the break to go into half time 1-1 having taken the lead with an excellent Niall strike. The second half started badly with Llanishen taking a 2-1 lead which is the way things stayed until the last quarter. The Eagles drew level with a wonderful James effort but allowed Llanishen to score almost immediately to retake the lead at 3-2. Unfortunately Llanishen took three more chances well in the last fifteen minutes to take the match 6-2.

The eleven Eagle heroes turning up at the Caedelyn on a very dark, very wet evening  were:
