Once more the managers were carefully counting players as kick off approached. Just ten Eagles line up against a very good Fairwater side so things were going to be difficult.  The last six games have seen a maximum of eleven Eagles being available to play and with William and Aaron away things were going to be desperate. In the event just ten Eagles took the field this morning to face a very good Fairwater side.

The lads made a poor start and after 20 minutes the score was 4-0 and it seemed as if they had already left themselves with too much to do. For the rest of the game the boys competed well and the final score of 8-4 meant that the poor start counted for a lot at the end. An excellent hat-trick by Niall and a superb goal from James accounted for the Eagles goal tally.
