A fine first half performance saw the lads take a 2-1 lead into half time with tremendous strikes from Niall and Joey. The lads showed everyone what the are capable of and many fine passing moves were put together with the lads running off the ball finding space in many areas.
Half time saw Hassan, Declan and William replaced by Jonathan, Matthew and Rhys. Unfortuantely, in the second half the Eagles weren't able to sustain the excellent progress. The bigWhitchurch main striker was at last finding opportunities to shoot and even though Niall scored yet another wonderful goal the lads slumped to a 4-3 defeat. To rub salt into the wound, the winning goal was scored with the very last kick of the game. The ref immediately blew for time as the goal went in and the current disappointing run of results continues.
